To people who are mobility impaired, access to these opportunities can be a challenge. Our Department is committed to removing as many barriers as possible to those with disabilities and making Idaho truly accessible. The Idaho Fish and Game Department encourages everyone to experience Idaho's wild outdoors. The Department has an active program to improve opportunities and access to hunting, fishing and wildlife viewing sites for persons with disabilities. The Department is committed to following ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) standards and working with groups that promote access to the outdoors for persons with disabilities.
The Department partners with private landowners, Idaho counties and federal and state agencies to incorporate accessible designs into facilities for hunting, fishing and wildlife viewing. We want to be proactive in promoting equal access to Idaho's bountiful outdoor resources and encourage suggestions on how we can make Idaho more accessible.
We hope this section will provide helpful information on what is currently available to help persons with disabilities enjoy Idaho. Click on the featured sections below to access specific information about IDFG accessible programs.
