October Meeting of the Golden Eagle Audubon Society
7:00 PM - 9:00 AM

Join the Golden Eagle Audubon Society for their monthly meeting at the MK Nature Center. This month’s meeting will hopefully have two presentation topics; the first is the Lucky Peak Kestrel Project, which will be putting up nest boxes near Lucky Peak dam and is looking for volunteers.



The second presentation will be by the Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge staff on the Comprehensive Conservation Plan Draft Environmental Impact Statement if the plan is out by this date. This plan will guide refuge management and public use for the next 15 years. They will be presenting information on the alternatives, answering questions, and looking for feedback. If the plan is not out by this date we they have an alternate program.
