Hunter Education Workbook Course Like the internet course, the Hunter Education workbook course is designed for self-motivated students with good reading and comprehension skills.

• Because of its increased level of difficulty, this course is not recommended for students under 14 years of age.
• Students must be at least nine years of age to take this course and must turn 10 within the same calendar year.
• Students must complete a workbook, have their work verified by Fish and Game staff, then attend a Field Day which includes a final examination, live-fire and safe firearm handling.
• Register for a workbook course and Field Day at your local Fish and Game office. Office Directory / Locations.
• Cost: $8.00 per student.
