Call for Volunteers

The summer wildlife fires are out, but thousands of acres of charred land are left in their wake; void of the native grasses and brush critical to wildlife. The Murphy fire alone burned 650,000 acres of sagebrush country. Now, Governor Otter is calling for volunteers to help collect sage brush seed this fall in the first step of what will be a massive restoration effort.
