Outdoor Intro Class

This in-person Project WILD class is sure to be a valuable time for you. Newbies and past participants are welcome! For the newbies, join us to see how Project WILD can be easily added to your curriculum to get kids excited about learning! For the groupies, come and get the new WILD terrestrial guide and refresh your love for sharing nature with children!

Idaho's traditional Project WILD workshops are 15 hours in length. They are held at various locations throughout the state. Participants become very involved in learning about wildlife and wildlife management concepts. Through a series of activities, educators learn fun and exciting ways to teach wildlife conservation in the classroom.

Workshop participants receive two activity guides which contain more than 150 activities related to wildlife and wildlife conservation. Other educational materials, such as posters and leaflets, are also provided at every workshop.

This workshop serves as a prerequisite for any of the other specialized WILD classes.

The registration fee for an Introductory Workshop is $40.

Optional university credit is available through Boise State University or Northwest Nazarene University. An outside assignment is required for those who are taking the workshop for credit. Participants register and pay for credit online at the respective university website, the additional per-credit fee is $60.
