Lewis-Clark Wildlife Club Shooting Range

The Lewis-Clark Wildlife Club Shooting Range is located on South Tom Beall Road. The range features benches for shooting rifles or pistols and two automatic clay pigeon trap machines for shotgun practice and a metallic pop-up target system for silhouette shooting.

Range features, information and cost:
  • Six benches for shooting rifles or pistols out to 100 yards and 18 more benches with a maximum of 500 meters. The range also features two automatic clay pigeon trap machines for shotgun practice and a metallic pop-up target system for silhouette shooting.
  • On-site restrooms are accessible to physically-challenged shooters.
  • Cost: A range fee of $5 for members; $10 for non-members. Range cannot accept credit cards. Other small fees for shotgun trap, metallic silhouette pop-up targets, ear muff or safety glasses rentals. The range also has earplugs and paper or clay targets for sale.
  • Days / Hours of Operation: Call the range at (208) 843-2987 to hear a recorded message with the days and hours of operation. During December, January and February, the range is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. All other months the range stays open an hour later until 4 p.m.
Location / Directions
The Lewis-Clark Wildlife Club Range is located 15 miles SE of Lewiston on South Tom Beall Road.
  • From Highway 95:  From 1/2 mile North of Lapwai, follow the signs on South Tom Beall Road. The pavement turns to gravel at the 1.1 mile fork. Stay to the right. The range is on your left 4.3 miles from Highway 95.
  • From Highway 12:  From 1/2 mile East of Myrtle, follow Cottonwood Creek Road 6.0 miles to South Tom Beall Road. At 6.5 miles the pavement turns to gravel. The range is on your right at 9.3 miles from Highway 12.
